Our History

Southern Kiremba Orphanage began its activities in 1962. Kiremba Orphanage was established and is managed by the Kiremba Pentecostal Church to provide protection for babies who lost their mothers at birth. At the beginning, the orphanage started with only two twin children from Ryansoro commune in Gitega Province. The activities of the orphanage continued and currently, nearly 1068 orphaned children have benefited from the protection of the Kiremba orphanage.

Mission

To contribute to ensuring the survival and strengthening the dignity of the most disadvantaged babies because they lost their mothers at birth by offering them opportunities for psychomotor and cognitive development from a young age to help them build a solid foundation for their development.
