In 1962, a mission of compassion began at the Southern Kiremba Orphanage, located in Bururi Province, Burundi. Established by the Kiremba Pentecostal Church, the orphanage was founded with the goal of caring for infants who tragically lost their mothers during childbirth. The story began with two twin babies from Ryansoro commune, who were the first to receive the shelter and care provided by the orphanage.
